Marketing And Brand Visibility

In this article today we will discuss marketing and brand visibility to build your brand awareness. Once you have developed your beautiful irresistible brand, it is now time to showcase it. Otherwise, your brand will lose its purpose.

So you just re-branded your business. Now, what do you do? Where do you go and how can you showcase it so that the right people will find you without having to pay an arm and a leg to advertising agencies?

There are five basic ways to market, my guess is, you probably know what they are and most likely already doing most of them.

  1. Networking
  2. Speaking
  3. Videos
  4. Social Media
  5. Article Marketing

I am sure there a lot more outlets, but let's just focus on these ones for the sake of keeping it simple.

So let's talk about showcasing your brand and building brand awareness. I see so many business owners forgetting to do this very important step. It's like going to a party and forgetting to put that gorgeous dress you bought last week or that piece of jewelry you always loved but never had anything appropriate to wear it with until now. You have to showcase your brand in your marketing. And you can do it both online and in person. How do you do that? With your compelling marketing materials. Having your website and your business cards you can hand over to people is helpful, but not nearly enough. People typically go home with a stack of business cards after a networking event, and often they don't even know what to do with them. You can't carry your website with you at all times either.

What else can you do? Can you bring banners? Brochures? CDs? A book you wrote? Many places will allow you to bring all this stuff and put it on a table. This may not seem like a lot, but after a while, people will start associating your face with your company name as well as your logo and your brand colors. And that's how you build your brand.

When you shoot frequent videos to market your business, be sure to have your brand on them as well. Think about what you can put in the background. Ideally, you want to have your books, CDs, or banner visible. Sometimes, if your graphic designer is crafty enough to be able to edit videos, you can actually add a virtual background with your logo or website cover.

The whole point of having a brand is to be remembered and easily identified by your target audience, so you don't get lost in the sea of other business owners out there who are trying to do the exact same thing you do.
